How to Watch the PGA Tour’s 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge Live Online on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, & Mobile
The PGA Tour makes its way back to TV with its first event in nearly three months. The Charles Schwab Challenge begins on Thursday, June 11, and goes until Sunday, June 14. The first and second rounds will air on the Golf Channel, while CBS will take over the third and final rounds and the Golf Channel maintains early coverage.

While playing without spectators will be starkly differently for this year’s Charles Schwab Challenge, the PGA Tour has found a way to make Thursday’s matches interactive. According to Golf Week, a few of the players will be mic’d up, enabling them to answer questions and talk as the matches go along.
“We’ve been talking to the Tour about it for years,” CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus told Golf Week. “I think there’s probably a greater appreciation for wanting to contemporize golf coverage a little bit, and I think the players are beginning to realize that they can play a real role in that and making the product a little more interesting for the viewer at home.”
Rory McIlroy comes into the tournament as the leader of the pack. He boasts a “riding a streak of seven consecutive top-five finishes, including a win at the WGC-HSBC Champions, to become the second player since 2000 with a streak that long,” according CBS Sports. The game won’t be a cakewalk for McIlroy, however, as the “field includes 17 of the top 20 in the FedEx Cup points standings,” CBS Sports noted.
