This season, audiences saw John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner, lead his ranching family out of some muddy waters as they faced pressure from city people who came in wanting to make some changes. Fans of the show were introduced to new characters such as Josh Holloway’s Roarke Morris, “a villainous hedge fund manager whose ambitious plans concern the Dutton family,” as well as and Jennifer Landon’s Teeter, “a dynamic female wrangler who joins the bunkhouse,” according to ET Online.
The final episode sees Dutton sitting at the “negotiating table with former friends and foes as the battle for the future of the Yellowstone intensifies,” Decider noted.
The show was renewed for a fourth season back in February and recently began filming, according to Parade. With the coronavirus still at large, there is no word on when it’ll debut on the network. However, most seasons of the show have had a June premiere date, so fans can hold out for a summer 2021 bow.
