Philo Launches New Guide on Roku & Updated iPad App. Here’s Everything You Need to Know.

Philo — the 40 channel entertainment-only Live TV Streaming Service — made two major announcements this afternoon. They’ve released a dedicated iPad App for subscribers, as well as an updated Roku App with a brand new Channel Guide.

While you could previously watch Philo on iPad using their iPhone App, the new app takes advantage of the full dimensions of the larger device.

The new Channel Guide on Roku brings four updated features to make browsing and channel surfing easier on Philo.

New Philo Guide Features on Roku

  • Live Now: See what’s on your favorite channels as they’re listed first in the grid view.
  • Live Preview: Hold down the [OK] button to see more information on the show while it plays subtly in the background.
  • Top Playable: Choose from a curated list of top-watched shows by channel that you may have missed over the past three days, which are all available to watch immediately.
  • Quicker Browsing: Seamlessly scroll through pages of the guide using the FF & RW buttons
