PlayStation Vue announced last night that subscribers would be losing access to CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC affiliates owned by Sinclair. This means that those who currently have these channels will have them removed and replaced by an on-demand version.
Sinclair currently owns 123 CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC stations across the country. A full list is below.
You will still be able to watch network programming, but you won’t have any access to live sports, local news, and late night on those channels. Additionally, any shows recorded to the DVR will be removed.
Here is the note PlayStation sent to subscribers:
“We are writing to inform you that on 5/1/18, the affiliated live local broadcast channel in your are will be replaced with an On Demand version of the channel. The On Demand version of the channel offers a library of current and top programming. However, the live and DVR programming will no longer be viewable.”
