This Is Every Star Wars Movie and TV Show Streaming Now and Coming Soon to Disney Plus

Disney+ includes a wide variety of Star Wars movies, shows, and shorts. Every currently released Star Wars film, except for “Solo,” “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and “Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi” will be available on Disney Plus. The upcoming, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which comes to theaters next month is expected to arrive on Disney+ in mid-2020.

Disney+ is also home to the first ever Star Wars live-action series, “The Mandalorian,” which will be available at launch.

With your $6.99 a month subscription after a 7-Day Free Trial, you can watch and download as much Star Wars content as you please. The service is available on most major platforms like Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS, Android, Xbox, PS4 and Smart TVs.

What Original Series Are Available on Disney+?

At launch, Disney+ will have one original series by Lucas Arts, but has at least three others under production.

The Mandalorian

The first ever live-action Star Wars series set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, the series follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

What Original Series Are Coming to Disney+?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

The animated series will be returning with twelve all-new episodes exclusively on Disney+. This will mark the return of classic characters Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, as well as fan-favorites Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex.

Untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

Ewan McGregor made a surprise appearance to announce his return as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new untitled series from Lucasfilm.

Cassian Andor

Diego Luna will reprise his role of rebel spy Cassian Andor with Alan Tudyk returning as K-2SO in this series set during the formative years of the Rebellion prior to the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

What is the Price to Stream Star Wars Movies on Disney+?

Disney Plus, the ad-free streaming service from Disney, debuted in the U.S. and Canada on November 12, 2019 at $6.99 per month, or $70 per year ($5.83/month). With your subscription, you can stream and download an unlimited amount of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and Nat Geo shows and movies.

Disney+, will expand to New Zealand and Australia on November 19th, and UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany on March 31st, 2020.

What Other Shows and Movies will be on Disney+?

The first year will include 25 new original series, 10+ movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles. Disney+ will be the exclusive home of all of Walt Disney’s blockbuster films starting with the 2019 slate, which will roll-out to the platform within the first year.
