Docsville is a global documentary platform with an on-demand library of hundreds of documentaries from all genres, periods, and languages. Its documentaries cover various contemporary pop figures ranging from Louis Armstrong to Tupac as well as informational topics like international politics, foreign history, and many more.
Docsville was originally founded as Yadoo in 2016 by Nick Fraser, former editor of the BBC’s Storyville documentary strand. The platform had a major rebrand in late 2017, when it joined forces with Amazon and expanded its library.

Originally produced at the studios of Docsville, there are exclusive documentaries ranging from topics such as music, art, crime, gender, as well as spiritism, belief, & faith. Some titles include the series called “Criminals Chile” focusing on criminal Chileans like Christian Llanquileo and Juan Davila. There is also “Criminals LA,” the short film series made by Khalo Matabane, along with “Letters for Peace,” and “Luana.”
Movies
Among the best-known titles are Nick Broomfield’s “Aileen: The Life and Death of a Serial Killer,” “Down From the Mountain,” “Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story,” and “Blood in the Mobile.”
