After a nearly 6 week blackout, Altitude, the Regional Sports Network for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, has reached a deal with DirecTV. While the channel is still blacked out on Dish, and Comcast — there finally a way to watch the Nuggets and Avalanche in the Denver market.
“We’re thrilled to be back on the air with our partners at DirecTV. This is tremendous news for the fans of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, who have had to endure missing their teams at the start of their seasons,” said Jim Martin, President and CEO of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
Unfortunately for streamers, the deal does not include bringing Altitude to AT&T TV or AT&T TV NOW. This means that there is still not streaming option for the channel.

When asked by fans why the channel isn’t available to stream, Altitude President, Matt Hutchings, says a “model does not exist that can support a streaming/direct to consumer option.” While it may not be feasible to sell the channel directly, it’s odd that they haven’t brought the channel to Live TV Streaming Services.
