Amazon Prime Video App Now Available for TiVo Pay-TV Customers

TiVo announced that as of today, the Amazon Prime Video app will be available on certain devices to its pay TV customers. Customers who have the TiVo Voice Remote can also find what they’re looking for by simply saying the name of the show, movie or an actor’s name into the remote.

“We are excited to bring the Prime Video app to our TiVo pay-TV customers who are Prime members, making available thousands of fan favorite movies and TV shows, including binge-worthy Amazon Originals such as ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ and ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’” said Dave Shull, president and CEO, TiVo. “Adding the Prime Video app means fueling fandom for great content that reaches millions of households.”

Customers can also use TiVo’s OnePass feature, which aggregates live TV, on demand and other streaming video content. Amazon content available in the Prime Video app will also be available through OneSearch. The Prime Video integration includes 4K and HDR support, as well as Amazon’s IMDb-powered X-Ray feature, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at movies and TV shows.
