Avengers: Endgame Will Be Released on Disney+ on December 11, 2019

Today, Disney announced that Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel film that has surpassed $2.2 billion at the box office worldwide, will debut on their upcoming streaming service on December 11th. The film was originally released in theaters on April 26th, meaning it will appear on the service just 7.5 months later.

Disney unveiled in April that their ad-free streaming service will debut in the U.S. on November 12, 2019 at $6.99 per month, or $70 per year ($5.83/month). Disney+, which many have dubbed a “Netflix-killer”, will expand international to Europe, Asia, and Latin America starting early next year and continuing through the end of 2020.

Starting with the 2019 theatrical slate, all Disney/Pixar/Marvel/Star Wars films will become exclusive to Disney+ meaning movies like the live-action versions of Aladdin, The Lion King, Captain Marvel, and now Avengers: Endgame will only be available to stream on Disney+.
