Disney+ continues to dole out the content people want. In an announcement on Twitter, the streamer revealed a new Muppets series is on the way. Titled “Muppets Now,” the new show will debut on Disney+ on July 31 and promises to bring all the lights, music and entertainment we know and love. The show will be available in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and India.

“Muppets Now” will be the Muppets Studio’s first original series for Disney+. The six-episode season brings back the entire Muppets gang — Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Scooter, among others.
Seeing as the internet declared May 20 as #NationalStreamingDay, Disney+ also enlisted the help of YouTuber Alex Wassabi to celebrate the occasion. Along with Aaron Burriss and the Merrell Twins — Vanessa and Veronica — Wassabi is hosting the first ever 24-hour livestream where they discuss the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle. The four are celebrating with tons of games, trivia and a variety of surprises.

Earlier this month, Disney revealed their widely popular streaming service has reached 33.5 million subscribers in Q2 2020, but reached 54.5 million subscribers as of May 4. Some of those subscribers come from distribution agreements from operators in Europe that bundle the service for their subscribers. This is up from the 26.5 million subscribers they reported last quarter and 28.6 they had as of Feb. 3.
