Disney+ Will Be the Exclusive Home of The Simpsons Starting in November

In a surprise announcement, Disney announced that all 30 seasons of The Simpsons will be moving to Disney+, their upcoming streaming service. The long running animated show was on Disney-owned Hulu until 2018 and have since moved to FXX — which was acquired as part of Disney’s deal for 21st Century Fox.

Many assumed that The Simpsons would move back to Hulu after the deal close, but Disney has decided instead to move the series to Disney+. The service will launch on November 12th, 2019 at just $6.99 a month and includes 25 new original series, 10+ movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles including the entire Disney Vault.
