On-demand streamer FandangoNOW is launching an app, now available for Amazon Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition Smart TVs.
FandangoNOW’s claims an inventory of 100,000-plus theatrical movie releases, catalog films and next-day TV shows. The streamer, which does not require a subscription, also houses a collection of 4K UltraHD movies.
There are two new films out on the service: “Bombshell,” based on the women at Fox News who accused CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, and “Uncut Gems,” starring Adam Sandler as a jeweler with a gambling addiction who races to pay off his debts.
“Bombshell” is available for purchase, while Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” can be rented. Johnson is known for directing “Brick” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
FandangoNow can be accessed on Roku, Google Chromecast, Android, iOS, LG, Samsung and Vizio smart TVs and Xbox. The app is on Facebook’s Portal TV and Oculus VR headsets. It’s also available via the Movies Anywhere platform.
Cameron Douglas, Head of FandangoNOW, said: “Fire TV was one of our most requested devices.”
