Henry Cavill Weighs In on Famed ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut

The much-touted Snyder Cut of “Justice League” is coming to HBO Max in 2021.

Original director Zack Snyder decided ‘Justice’ will be served.

Snyder previously directed “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” — but had to leave “Justice League” due to family circumstances. Joss Whedon finished the film, which was a bust with critics and fans alike.

In 2017, fans kicked off #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.

In a Variety interview with Patrick Stewart (“Star Trek: Picard”), Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, was asked about the re-edited version.

“I believe it’ll be Zack’s final vision for the movie. … I’m just really happy that Zack got to realize his vision,” Cavill said. “I think it’s important for a filmmaker and a storyteller to have their intended vision released and shown to the world, and I’m looking forward to seeing it myself. It’s been quite the ordeal.”

Cavill added: “I’ve always been a fan of Superman. With a character like that, you carry the mantle with you off set. Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come.”

The Snyder Cut is said to be three hours and 34 minutes long, versus the two-hour Whedon version.
