Rejoin the struggle between US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) and hedge fund magnate Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Rhoades pursues the canny 9/11 survivor as he seeks the highest returns for his clients by any means necessary…or available. With multiple threats now coming against Axe and his firm, only the next season will tell if the wily campaigner can escape justice once more.
Already, Axe—and by extension Axe Cap—has already survived a great deal, but the second half of the fifth season now features Axe taking a run at small-town hero Mike Prince’s ambitions. Meanwhile, Chuck’s own pursuit of Axe needs to be back-burnered as he tries new measures to save his father.
There are five episodes in the second half of the season.
New episodes of “Billions” are also available to stream with a Showtime subscription.
