About Top Chef Family Style
Top Chef Family Style features talented culinary prodigies working to show off their skills alongside an adult family member. The young chefs come from all over the US, from Alaska to New York. Throughout the season, they will take on challenges, such as mastering molecular gastronomy for the cast of Peacock’s Saved By the Bell, cooking in a culinary smackdown for WWE Superstars, and creating a meatless menu for an NFL tailgate with the LA Rams.
Meghan Trainor and James Beard host the show, while Marcus Samuelsson serves as Head Judge. Each week will feature new guest judges and special guests, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jojo Siwa, and many others. Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi and head judge Tom Colicchio will offer their expertise to the young chefs. The show’s alums, Kwame Onwuachi, Shirley Chung, Nyesha Arrington, Brian Malarkey, Amar Santana, Chris Cosentino, Kelsey Barnard Clark, Sheldon Simeon, Mei Lin, Richard Blais, Melissa King, Brooke Williamson, Gregory Gourdet, Nina Compton, Stephanie Izard, and Shota Nakajima, will return to help out the young talents as well.
The first two episodes will become available to stream on September 9 with new episodes dropping every Thursday throughout the season. At the end of the competition, one chef will take home the $50,000 grand prize.
