YouTube TV Lifts DVR Restrictions on Select Channels

Earlier this month we speculated that YouTube TV could lift DVR restrictions which prevented users from skipping ads on recorded shows. On certain channels, users would have their recorded show replaced with a VOD version with unskippable ads.

This morning the company announced that shows recorded from AMC, Disney, FOX, NBC Universal, and Turner will now support the ability to rewind, fast forward, and pause.

We are waiting for word from the company on the exact list of channels included, but below is a list of channels owned by each of those companies available on YouTube TV.
