ESPN+ Streaming Service Launches

ESPN+ gives sports fans an all-in-one digital sports platform with easy access to all of ESPN’s news, scores, analysis, video and audio content.

This service gives subscribers access to thousands of additional live events, on-demand content, and original programming not available on ESPN’s traditional TV or digital networks. This content includes hundreds of MLB, NHL and MLS games, Grand Slam tennis, Top Rank boxing, PGA Tour golf, college sports, international rugby, cricket, and all ESPN Films (including 30 for 30).

While ESPN+ does not include live streaming of regular ESPN channel content, it does give access to a daily out-of-market game from MLB and NHL, as well as the entire MLS Live out-of-market schedule with exclusive local-market coverage of the Chicago Fire.

A ESPN+ subscription costs $4.99/month and has a 7-day free trial. During the first week of the launch (April 12–18), subscribers are offered an extended 30-day free trial (sponsored by American Express).
