Hulu Adds National CBS Network in Sinclair Markets

In a report from Bloomberg, CBS and Hulu has reached an agreement to add a live national CBS feed in Sinclair markets. This comes as a major blow to Sinclair who has refused to let Hulu carry their CBS affiliates unless they also add the Sinclair-owned Tennis Channel.

Fore example, in markets like Cincinnati and Salt Lake City, Hulu will carry a national CBS feed instead of Sinclair-owned CBS affiliates WKRC and KUTV.

The national feed will include 14.5 hours of live programming including popular primetime shows like The Big Bang Theory and College Football coverage. In place of local news, the channel will carry CBSN, the company’s digital news network.

To date, Hulu Live TV offers the most local channels with over 600 CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC affiliates.
