One of the biggest knocks on the entertainment-only OTT service Philo is that their app is currently available only on Roku, iOS, and browsers.
At only $16/month it is a compelling option for those looking for channels from Viacom (MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, Nickelodeon), Discovery/Scripps (HGTV, Food Network), and A&E (A&E, History, Viceland). It includes many of the channels that YouTube TV does not offer.
While Philo has announced support for Apple TV and Fire TV this summer, with TV Everywhere support you can now watch on those devices today.
Over the past month, Philo has added TV Everywhere support to almost every channel in their skinny bundle, so that you can watch your favorite shows on almost any device by logging into channel’s own apps with your Philo credentials.
