Marvel Drops ‘Hawkeye’ Trailer: Here’s When You Can Stream It On Disney+

The world has finally seen its first glimpse of Marvel’s Hawkeye series, headed to Disney+ this fall. Here’s everything you need to know about the new series.

What Is Hawkeye?

Hawkeye focuses on Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, but looks to revolve more around “Ronin,” Hawkeye’s alter ego, a masked vigilante who seeks to eliminate large-scale criminal operations. The series looks to take place in the post-Avengers world where order is restored after “The Snap,” as Barton’s family is back and not dissolved into ashes. Now, the world is back to worrying about “normal” things, like crime syndicates and what to get their family members for Christmas.

Barton will be joined throughout this series by Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld, a fellow archer who wants to follow in Clint’s footsteps. Hawkeye will also feature Black Widow star Florence Pugh reprising her role as Yelena Belova, Black Widow’s sister. As Barton and Black Widow (the now-deceased Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson) were close, it makes sense that we’d see Belova return to the series — but it might not be a friendly sort of reunion for the two. Could we even see fellow Avengers like Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), or Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) make appearances?

Hawkeye also stars Vera Farmiga, Zahn McClarnon, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, Fra Free, and Brian d’Arcy James.

When Will Hawkeye Be Available on Disney+?

Hawkeye will start streaming on Disney+ on November 24, just in time for the start of the holiday season (which the show references heavily in the teaser trailer.)

Like the other MCU shows, episodes will likely be released one at a time on a weekly basis. While Hawkeye’s contemporaries released on Fridays, Hawkeye looks to be released on Wednesdays (but that could always change.) Hawkeye will consist of eight episodes for its inaugural season.

What is ‘Rogers the Musical’?

We don’t know much, but we do know it’s a Broadway musical about Captain America. And it looks amazing. We hope this is an oblique reference to the ill-fated “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.”

How to Sign Up for Disney+

There are plenty of ways to sign up for Disney+ in order to watch Hawkeye depending on your interests outside of the MCU.

1. The Disney Bundle: Disney+, Hulu w/ Limited Commercials, & ESPN+

Price: $13.99 (normally $20.97)

Not only is this the original Disney Bundle, it is also the best deal, and it has gotten even better — as the price of ESPN+ has increased to $6.99 a month. Disney+ ($7.99), Hulu ($5.99), and ESPN+ ($6.99) cost $20.97 if you subscribe to them separately, but with the Disney Bundle, it is just $13.99.

By opting in to get all three, you are getting more than 33% OFF the individual subscription, and essentially getting ESPN+ for free. With the three services, you will get the entire Disney movie library, original series, and blockbuster movies from Disney+, original series and best shows on cable with Hulu, and live sports, including the best in international soccer, NHL, MLB, and more with ESPN+.

2. The Disney Bundle: Disney+, Hulu w/ No Ads, & ESPN+

Price: $19.99 (normally $26.97)

If you are someone who just doesn’t want ads, you can upgrade to the Disney Bundle without ads. This includes Hulu (No Ads) plan, instead of Hulu w/ Limited Commercials. That means you can watch nearly all of Hulu’s content, including originals like The Handmaid’s Tale, commercial-free.

With this bundle, you will still save the same $7 a month, over the cost of subscribing to the three streaming services individually.

3. The Disney Bundle: Save with Annual Plans

While there is no savings to pre-pay annually with the Disney Bundle – if you don’t need all three services, it is a great way to save on each service individually.

  • Disney+: $7.99 a month ($79.99 per year, or $6.66 a month pre-paid annually)
  • Hulu w/ Limited Commercials: $5.99 a month ($59.99 per year, or $4.99 a month pre-paid annually)
  • ESPN+: $6.99 a month ($69.99 per year, or $5.83 a month pre-paid annually)

If you only need two of the three services, you can save ~$17-27 a year if you choose to pre-pay for them annually versus paying monthly for all three services in the Disney Bundle.

  • The Disney Bundle: $167.88 annually, paid monthly
  • Disney+ & Hulu: $139.99 annually
  • Disney+ & ESPN+: $149.99 annually
