Fox Sports & fuboTV Will Stream Super Bowl LIV in 4K, Giving Live Streamers 4K Streaming of The Big Game For The First Time

Since becoming the first Live TV Streaming Service to stream 4K events with the FIFA World Cup in 2018, Fubo remains the only service to offer 4K streaming from inside their interface. Since they’ve since expanded to include MLB, NASCAR, English Premier League, College Football, and College Basketball. This season, fuboTV continued their 4K coverage with FOX’s entire Thursday Night Football schedule.

Now, for the first time, the streaming service will air the Super Bowl in 4K. Super Bowl LIV, the NFL’s 54th championship game will take place from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on February 2nd, 2020 with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira performing the halftime show.

fuboTV will stream Fox’s early pre-game show “FOX Super Bowl” kick-off starting at 1pm ET, followed by the Super Bowl pre-game show at 2pm ET, and Super Bowl LIV at 6:30pm ET.

At the Sports Video Group Summit this week, Fox Sports SVP Michael Davies confirmed that they will offer both a 1080p HDR and an unconverted UHD stream.

Similar to Thursday Night Football, you will also be able to stream the Super Bowl in 4K using your TV Everywhere credentials for services like Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV in the Fox Now and Fox Sports App.

How to Stream Super Bowl LIV in 4K with fuboTV

To view ultra-high definition and high dynamic range content, subscribers must have a 4K HDR-enabled television, HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compatible cable and run the fuboTV app on a streaming device that supports the formats.

Bandwidth speeds of 30Mbps-40Mbps or higher are recommended. 4K HDR-capable TVs may also need calibration to present the content correctly.
