How to Stream the Andy Samberg-Helmed Existential Comedy ‘Palm Springs’

Fans of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” this one’s for you. While Andy Samberg won’t be returning to the small screen as Jake Peralta for a while, he stars in one of Sundance’s most popular comedies, “Palm Springs.” The film is currently playing in drive-in theaters and is available to stream on Hulu for those who want stay at home.

How to Stream ‘Palm Springs’

“The existential romantic comedy stars Andy Samberg as Nyles and Cristin Milioti as a reluctant maid of honor who have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding after he rescues her from a disastrous toast. Things get complicated when they find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, of each other,” according to Deadline.

Along with Samberg and Milioti, “Palm Springs” also features J.K. Simmons, Meredith Hagner, Camila Mendes, Tyler Hoechlin and Peter Gallagher.

The film made headlines when it became the most expensive acquisition in Sundance history after being purchased by Hulu and Neon for $17,500,000.69, according to Entertainment Weekly, though other reports say the sum was actually higher.

The film was directed by Max Barbakow from a screenplay written by Andy Siara. Samberg, Becky Sloviter, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, Dylan Sellers and Chris Parker served as producers, while Gabby Revilla Lugo was the executive producer.
