Major League Baseball Streams ‘Opening Day at Home’ Classic Games

The 2020 Major League Baseball season, which was scheduled to begin today, is in limbo — but baseball is still viewable.

Today, sports fans can stream the MLB’s “Opening Day at Home” — a full slate of 30 classic games broadcast nationally cross-platform, including digital streaming and social media.

The schedule includes postseason games, no-hitters and walk-offs. Streaming options include MLB.com and MLB.tv, plus Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. If you only want to watch your home team, stream from its website.

On the MLB Network, fans can view classic opening day games starting with Derek Jeter’s first opening day in 1996 at 1 p.m. ET and ending at midnight with Tuffy Rhodes’ three-home-run day for the Cubs in 1994.

In addition, fans can access all games from the 2018 and 2019 regular seasons for free through MLB.tv. There are also classic games through YouTube.
