Pluto TV Launches 12 New Channels Including Baywatch and Degrassi

Pluto TV continues to expand its content library. The free, ad-supported streaming service announced today that it launched 12 additional channels, including Baywatch and Degrassi. The Baywatch channel will go live with the first five seasons, and then Pluto TV will switch in new seasons every quarter. The Degrassi channel will go live with a wide array of seasons, and eventually launch all seasons of the show.

Additional channels that launched on the platform today were American Gladiators (Ch. 136), PursuitUP (Ch. 507),TBN (Ch. 635), Hillsong Channel (Ch. 637), MTV Block Party (Ch. 935), TV Terror channel 70, The Addams Family (Ch. 310), Fear Factor (Ch. 349), Criss Angel Mindfreak (Ch. 351), and the MTV HOLLA! WEEN (Ch. 921).

In July, Pluto TV announced the launch of Pluto TV Latino, a new category on the platform featuring 11 linear Spanish and Portuguese-language channels. Pluto TV Latino is the first offering of its kind on a major free, ad-supported OTT service.

Over the summer, Pluto TV also added other channels from Viacom including Yo! MTV Raps, MTV Biggest Pop and MTV Spankin’, MTV VMAs, CMT Cheerleaders, Comedy Central Roast, MTV Wild ‘N Out, MTV Ridiculousness, MTV The Challenge, MTV Cribs and Are You The One?
