What’s Coming to IMDb TV in August 2020, Including ‘Austenland’ and ‘Roswell’
For those who like films based on true stories, IMDb TV has several, including “Seven Years in Tibet,” “Ali” and “Foxcatcher,” which chronicles the wrestling patronage of John du Pont and the subsequent murder of Olympic wrestler Dave Schultz at his hands.
Emotionally complicated relationships are the focus of “As Good As It Gets,” with Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson, and “Austenland,” a quirky tribute to a Jane Austen-obsessed fan who gets to live out her literary fantasies.
Families can share “Shrek” and “Stuart Little,” while sci-fan lovers can catch up on “Lost in Space,” “Godzilla” and the TV show “Roswell.” Some 61 episodes, loosely based on the YA book series “Roswell High,” were broadcast, in which humans and alien-human hybrids meet.
