Earlier this year, Apple announced that as part of tvOS 12 for Apple TV, customers would get access to a feature called Zero Sign-On. This will allow you to be automatically logged into TV Everywhere Apps if you’re connected to your cable provider’s broadband.
Today, the feature has rolled out with the first cable provider - Charter Spectrum — the second largest in the country behind Comcast. If you’re a Spectrum Cable subscriber, you can now access TV apps like Watch ESPN, Bravo Now, and more by just making sure its connected to Spectrum Internet.
It is expected that the feature will roll-out with other cable and satellite services next year. You can see a full list of supported apps here.
