ESPN announced today that their OTT service ESPN+ will for the second year in a row, broadcast a daily out-of-market MLB game. The opening week will see some of the best teams in baseball and the debut of newly acquired stars.
On Opening Day, they will broadcast Bryce Harper’s Phillies debut as they take on the Atlanta Braves. Then, the 2017 World Series Champion Houston Astros against the Tampa Bay Rays, followed by the New York Yankees against the Baltimore Orioles. The full schedule is below.
Fans can subscribe to ESPN+ for $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year and includes live and on demand sports programming.
In addition to MLB, ESPN’s direct-to-consumer OTT streaming service includes access to daily out-of-market NHL, MLS games, UFC, international soccer coverage, college sports, original shows, and the entire library of 30 for 30 content. You can read our full review of the service here.
