Haystack TV — an ad-supported streaming service that connects viewers with local, national and global TV news — announced today that they entered into a new, multiyear AVOD distribution agreement with Hubbard Broadcasting. The agreement brings news content from Hubbard’s six local TV network affiliates onto Haystack streaming platforms.

The addition of Hubbard and its affiliates in cities such as Minnesota, New Mexico (Albuquerque) and New York (Albany and Rochester), expands Haystack’s reach. The streamer now offers over 300 local broadcasters and national/international news providers on its news platform and surpasses 90 percent of major metropolitan areas covered in the U.S.
Haystack TV provides users with easy-to-navigate video news channels sorted by popular and trending topical in categories such as business and finance, entertainment news, coronavirus and more. The streamer also curates news stories within each channel based on viewers’ areas of interest and local markets they selected.
Haystack TV is available for free on major streaming media players like Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, as well as iOS, Android, and Web at haystack.tv. The service is also available on both Sony and VIZIO Smart TVs.
