This is a big event for streaming companies as Netflix tries to become the first streaming service to win an Academy Award for Best Picture for their film Roma.

The film which is Written, Directed, and Produced by Alfonso Cuarón earned nominations for Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, Best Actress (Aparicio), and Best Supporting Actress (de Tavira).
