How to Watch the NASCAR Cup Series Toyota 500 Live Without Cable on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV

NASCAR’s return on Sunday went off without a hitch and is picking it back up again today with the Toyota 500 race. The event will have the same coronavirus prevention protocols as Sunday’s race with no fans in the stands and will begin at 6 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1.

Today’s race is mixing things up a bit as the league has decided to invert the starting line up. Ryan Preece, who finished Sunday’s race in the 20th position, gets to start at the pole today. Next to him will be Ty Dillon, who came in 19th, with Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Blaney, Ryan Newman, Matt DiBenedetto, Brad Keselowski, Aric Almirola, and Austin Dillon among the top 10 starters, according to Speed Sport.

While the starting positions have been inverted, drivers who finished in positions 21 through 39 will begin the race in those slots. “The starting positions are assigned to the team, not the drivers, if a team opts to compete in Wednesday’s race with a different driver than they raced with in Sunday’s event, the team will not give up its starting position,” Speed Sport reports.

Like Sunday’s event, today’s event at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina will take place without prior practice. Procedures have to be modified in accordance with CDC, OSHA and state and local government recommendations, NASCAR stated. In order to proceed as safely as possible, the league is mandating the use of protective equipment, health screenings for all individuals before entering the facility and maintaining social distancing protocols throughout the event.
