St. Louis Blues Will Exclusively Stream Preseason Games in Bally Sports App, But You’ll Still Need Cable, Satellite, or DIRECTV STREAM

Hockey is almost back, and the St. Louis Blues will be exclusively streaming their NHL preseason games for the first time.

While St. Louis Blues games normally air on Bally Sports Midwest, none of their games will be on TV. Instead, you will need to stream them from the Bally Sports App or BallySports.com website.

Starting with tomorrow’s game between the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild, three of the team’s eight games will stream live on the Bally Sports app and on BallySports.com. Fans who sign in through their provider can stream games live.

Blues on Bally Sports App

  • 9/25: Blues vs. Wild
  • 9/27: Blues vs. Stars
  • 10/8: Blues vs. Blue Jackets

But, unfortunately, unless you get Bally Sports Midwest from your cable, satellite, or Live TV Streaming service you won’t be able to stream the game. That’s because you will need to use your TV Everywhere credentials to authenticate the Bally Sports App.

What is TV Everywhere? When you (or someone in your household) subscribes a cable, satellite, or streaming bundle, you will get access to Bally Sports App. With Bally Sports App, you will get access to live games of your local Bally Sports RSN. This will work on your streaming player like Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku – or your mobile device.

So how can you stream them without cable?

Since August 2019, Sling TV, fuboTV, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV dropped Bally Sports Midwest from their Live TV Streaming Service.

So what is a Blues fans to do? While Sinclair may launch a direct-to-consumer service in mid-2022, with the NHL season almost here, you still have one option to stream Blues preseason and regular season games – DIRECTV STREAM.

With DIRECTV STREAM (which was previously AT&T TV), you can stream Bally Sports RSNs, including Bally Sports Midwest on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (via their Osprey Box), iOS, Android, and your computer.

If you sign-up for DIRECTV STREAM, you will also get access to the Bally Sports App, which can be authenticated with your DIRECTV STREAM Credentials.
