What’s Coming to Sundance Now in July 2020, Including ‘The Fall’ Season 2
Sundance Now caters to fans that love dramas, thrillers and docs. The streamer is debuting the new documentary “Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Margaret Fleming,” where two Scots are accused of killing a vulnerable adult and claiming benefits in her name for 16 years. There’s also season two of “The Fall.” Gillian Anderson (“X-Files”) stars as DSI Stella Gibson, who is racing to catch a Belfast serial killer.
Material Girl fans can revel in “Madonna: Goddess of Pop,” which examines the artist’s creative life and career, via her life as a dancer. And from Australia, the streamer offers the nail-biting drama “The Secrets She Keeps.” Based on the book by Michael Robotham, a writer horror author Stephen King called “an absolute master” of the psychological thriller, “Secrets” is about two pregnant women willing to risk everything to hide the truth as their lives collide.
