Amazon Prime Video Snags Exclusive Rights to ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ in Europe, Latin America, Canada and Australia
It seems Amazon Prime Video is feeling the heat as the streamer has snagged exclusive rights to bring Hulu’s “Little Fires Everywhere” to Europe, Latin America, Canada and Australia. According to Variety, the series, produced and helmed by Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, will hit the service on May 22.
The series is based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestselling novel, “Little Fires Everywhere,” which chronicles the lives of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who turn their world upside down. In addition to Witherspoon and Washington, the series also stars Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass and Gavin Lewis.
After launching on Hulu on March 18, the streaming service revealed the series spiked their ratings. While exact numbers weren’t released, the streamer said “Little Fires” recorded more viewing hours than other Hulu dramas and revealed demand had been greater for this show than any other the streamer carries.
