This year, 30 lovely ladies competed for the affection of Peter Weber, aka Pilot Pete. Weber was a contestant on last year’s “The Bachelorette,” and he put it all on the line only to come in third place. This time around, he took control and got to choose whom he was to fly high with.
“There are some conflicting theories about who Peter picks at the end of the season … but a dramatic preview of the finale show both Peter and his mother in tears. Peter’s mom tells him to ‘go get our girl,’ and he’s later seen apologizing to someone, but it’s unclear who it is,” Men's Health said.
Tonight’s finale will be followed by the “After the Final Rose” special, which airs tomorrow, March 10, also at 8 p.m. on ABC. Though “The Bachelor” is coming to an end, spinoffs are slated to take over, with “Bachelor in Paradise” premiering in the summer and the new, music-focused “Listen to Your Heart,” debuting on April 13.
