Verizon and Google Partner Up to Make YouTube TV Available To Customers Anytime, Anywhere

YouTube TV just became a heck of a lot easier to watch, and, if you’re a Verizon customer, you’re going to be happy about the news that was just released today. That’s because, according to an official Verizon statement, the media company partnered up with Google to announce that YouTube TV will now be available to Verizon customers nationwide on any platform they choose.

The partnership is groundbreaking for many reasons, as Verizon now leads the charge against its competitors in the race for the 5G revolution, while giving its customers a subscription-based platform like YouTube TV to stream the best content and experiences. Following the news, Erin McPherson, the head of content strategy and acquisition at Verizon, had this to say, per the official announcement.

“Our network and technology leadership uniquely positions us to lead the content revolution, which centers around choice for our customers.

“As we pave the path forward on 5G, we’ll continue to bring our customers options and access to premium content by teaming up with the best providers in the industry and leveraging our network as-a service strategy. We were first in the world to bring commercial 5G to our customers and now another first on the content front as we offer our customers access to YouTube TV on whatever platform they choose.”

The partnership between Verizon and Google now allows Verizon customers to stream their favorite content via YouTube TV on the largest, most reliable network, wireless 5G home customers to add premium content from YouTube TV to their Internet bundle, and Fios broadband customers even more options when deciding on content and services. In essence, this partnership makes it simple for Verizon’s customers to sign up and enjoy YouTube TV on-the-go from cell phones, tablets or on home TVs.

YouTube TV offers cable-free live TV that can be streamed from any device. It includes over 70 networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and popular cable channels such as HGTV, Food Network, TNT, TBS, CNN, ESPN, FX and on-demand programming options for subscribers. With this partnership, YouTube TV just became even easier, and more accessible, giving Verizon customers something to be very happy about.
