fuboTV Launches Samsung Smart TV App in Beta

As we first reported a few weeks ago, fuboTV had planned to launch on Samsung Smart TVs. Today, the company has officially rolled out their Samsung Smart TV App in Beta — which works on most newer models of Samsung televisions (2016+).

While the service is available on many streaming media players like Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV, this is the first Smart TV platform (besides Roku TV) supported by the Live TV Streaming Service. At this point, Sling TV, Hulu Live TV, DIRECTV NOW, and YouTube TV all support Samsung Smart TVs.

This is not the only beta feature that the service is currently testing. Earlier this week, the company rolled out support for their Series Recording feature to Apple TV devices. The feature that allows you to automatically record every new episode of a show, was previously added as a beta feature on their website a few weeks ago.

We don’t expect Fubo to stop there. We have heard that there are multiple product enhancements on the horizon, including support for additional Smart TVs, better personalization throughout the interface, as well as additional upgrades to their Cloud DVR.
