fuboTV Now Available on Gaming Consoles as the Service Launches on Xbox One Today

fuboTV is now officially available on yet another platform — Microsoft’s Xbox One. According to parent company, FaceBank Group, Inc., subscribers can now access all fuboTV content — top Nielsen-ranked sports, news and entertainment TV channels, movies and TV shows — across the entire family of Xbox One devices. Users who have the Xbox One X and Xbox One S can also stream 4K content.

“At a time when it’s more important than ever to stay informed with the latest news and be entertained at home with movies, TV shows and the coming return of live sports, we’re thrilled to bring the fuboTV app to the Xbox One,” stated Min Kim, vice president of business development at fuboTV.

The service launches on Xbox One with all its notable features. Users will be able to launch live video, record series and create personal profiles.

Last month, the company announced the fubo Sports Network is now available on Pluto TV. Users of the ad-supported streaming service now have access to all of fubo Sports Network’s event coverage, news, behind-the-scenes and exclusive programming for free.

Pairing fubo Sports Network with Pluto TV puts the channel on 75 million devices through a robust distribution network, which also includes free platforms LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Vizio Channels and XUMO as well as through fuboTV’s subscription service, the company said.

Earlier in the month, as part of their first shareholders letter after merging with FaceBank Group in March, fuboTV disclosed subscriber metrics for the first time since October 2018. In the May 4 letter, the company said that they had 315,789 paid subscribers (up 37 percent year-over-year) at the end of 2019 and increased revenue to $146.5 million (up 75 percent year-over-year).
