The NFL Pro Bowl 2020 takes place on Sunday, Jan. 26. This year’s teams will be helmed by Baltimore’s John Harbaugh and Seattle’s Pete Carroll, along with the Ravens (AFC) and Seahawks (NFC) coaching staffs, according to the Sporting News.
The Pro Bowl broadcast will be hosted by “Monday Night Football’s” Joe Tessitore, Booger McFarland, Lisa Salters with NFL officiating analyst John Parry. The quarterbacks will also be mic’d up during the game and be featured on the broadcast.
Players from the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will sit Sunday’s game out as they gear up to play in the Super Bowl next week. Nonetheless, players from the Baltimore Ravens will hold it down as the team — with 13 players — had the most players selected to participate this year.
Chosen Pro Bowlers also participated in the fourth-annual skills showdown on Thursday, competing in categories such as precision passing, a “gridiron gauntlet,” best hands and thread the needle. Players in the showdown included Steelers defenders Cameron Heyward and Minkah Fitzpatrick, Patriots CB Stephon Gilmore, Saints DL Cameron Jordan, Cleveland playmakers Nick Chubb and Jarvis Landry and Lions corner Darius Slay. The AFC won the showdown. The skills showdown will air again on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. ET on Disney XD.
