NHL.TV Will Offer Out-Of-Market Coverage of Stanley Cup Qualifiers For $4.99

After nearly a four month stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NHL is coming back for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. But before the Stanley Cup Playoffs actually takes place there will be a 16-team Stanley Cup qualifier to determine the final four seeds in each conference (as well as the seedings of the top four teams.

For the Stanley Cup Qualifiers, NHL.TV will offer two plans: $4.99 for every team or $3.99 for a single team’s games. While games in your local market will be blacked out, those that NBCSN and NHL Network will not.

You will get access to exhibition games starting on July 28th, as well as the Stanley Cup Qualifiers on August 1st - August 10th. If you already are a NHL.TV subscriber, you will get it as part of your regular season package (which was cut short as a result of the stoppage).

NHL.TV is available to stream on all major platforms including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Chromecast, PS4, Xbox, iOS, Android, and Web.

The service will let you choose between home or away broadcasts, watch multiple games at the same time, select camera angeles, and pause and rewind live games.

In your local market, games will air on Regional Sports Networks like MSG (New York Rangers), NESN (Boston Bruins), NBC Sports Chicago (Chicago Blackhawks). You will need a Live TV Streaming Service like Hulu Live TV or fuboTV for that.
