According to an announcement on Twitter, Disney+ subscribers will be able to stream the animated 2D short film beginning April 10.

“Playdate With Destiny” is a spinoff of “The Simpsons” and features Maggie Simpson. According to IMDB, “Maggie and Marge are having a play-date at Springfield’s finest toddler play park when Maggie becomes smitten with a little boy. It’s love at first suck and Maggie dreams about seeing him again after a day full of make-believe romance.”
The film launches a mere 10 days after the early digital release of “Onward.” With theaters across the country shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disney joined the list of studios digitally releasing their movies early and had the Pixar animated film available for digital purchase months ahead of schedule.
