Viacom Channels Like Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, & VH1 Are Now Available on DIRECTV NOW PLUS & MAX
Last month, DIRECTV NOW announced two new plans called DIRECTV NOW PLUS ($50) and DIRECTV NOW MAX ($70) — which were noticeably missing channels from Viacom, A+E, Discovery/Scripps, and AMC.
After Viacom reached a new agreement with AT&T, we reported that Viacom channels like Comedy Central, MTV, and Nickelodeon would be joining the new DIRECTV NOW PLUS ($50) and DIRECTV NOW MAX ($70) packages.
We can now confirm that the channels are officially live.
Both DIRECTV NOW PLUS and MAX subscribers will get BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and VH1 have been added. DIRECTV NOW MAX subscribers will also see CMT, Paramount Network, and TV Land join the lineup.
Just last month, Viacom agreed to a deal with Fubo to bring their channels to subscribers this month. The company has also been available on Sling TV, as well as the the $16 a month, entertainment-only streaming service Philo since they launched in 2017. Viacom channels aren’t available on PlayStation Vue, Hulu Live TV, or YouTube TV.
