“Astronomy Club: The Sketch Show,” the show featuring Upright Citizen Brigade’s first all-black troupe, Astronomy Club, has been canceled by Netflix after one season. Executive produced by Kenya Barris through his production company, Khalabo Ink Society, the show debuted on the streaming service last December.

“Astronomy Club: The Sketch Show,” starred Shawtane Bowen, Jonathan Braylock, Ray Cordova, James III, Caroline Martin, Jerah Milligan, Monique Moses and Keisha Zollar who created their troupe back in 2014, Deadline reports. The show touched on a wide range of topics, from pop culture and social issues to the Black experience. Guest stars included Ice Cube, Drew Tarver, Busy Philipps and Gillian Jacobs.

In a Twitter announcement, James III stated, “We’ve been getting lotsa love today so figured we should let y’all know Astronomy Club was sadly not renewed by Netflix and won’t have a season 2. We had a blast making it. Thank u for watching!!! (It’s still there if u haven’t yet) But we ain’t playing games, we’ll be back.”

Along with Barris, showrunner Daniel Powell also served as executive producer. His past credits include “Inside Amy Schumer” and “I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson,” as well as Khalabo Ink Society’s Anni Weisband.
