DAZN Announces Launch Date and Pricing for Sports Streaming Service

DAZN, the live sports streaming service, announced today that they will be launching in the U.S. on September 10th.

Unlike other markets which has rights to NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, the U.S.-version of the service will focus on MMA and Boxing to start.

DAZN will include unlimited access with no blackouts or pay-per-views for $10 a month after a 30-day free trial.

The majority of the content will come from their two large content deals with Matchroom Boxing and Bellator MMA.

  • Sept. 22: Anthony Joshua vs. Alexander Povetkin
  • Sept. 29: Bellator 206: Rampage Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva & Gegard Mousasi vs. Rory MacDonald
  • Oct 6: Matchroom USA Event
  • Oct 12: Bellator 207: Matt Mitrione vs. Ryan Bader

You will be able to stream on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android, iOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and most major browsers.

The service which is owned by The Perform Group is led by former ESPN President John Skipper who made the announcement on Periscope.
