DIRECTV NOW Adds Parental Controls on iOS & Apple TV

Until today, only Hulu Live TV and Sling TV were the only Live TV Streaming Services with parental controls.

This morning, DIRECTV NOW announced that they’ve added the feature to their iOS and Apple TV apps.

How it Works

  • Go to Settings in the DIRECTV NOW App
  • Select Parental Controls
  • Under Preferences, you can set specific ratings for Movies & TV Shows
  • Create a 4-digit PIN

The company is planning to add parental controls to their Roku, Fire TV, and Web apps in the near future.
