The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the DNC and RNC conventions. Since large gatherings are unsafe, coverage has radically changed.
Haystack News is creating dedicated streaming convention channels as part of its Decision 2020 programming. The Democratic National Convention runs August 17-21 and the Republican National Convention airs August 24-28.
The OTT platform’s streaming channels include content from Haystack News providers, almost 300 local broadcasters nationwide.
The channels will also stream news and analysis from ABC News, the AP, Bloomberg, CBS News, Cheddar, Euronews and Newsy.
Haystack TV CEO-cofounder Daniel Barreto, says streaming is making it “even easier and more convenient for our users to consume news content and perspectives for the upcoming national conventions from all over the country.”
Haystack News is accessible on various platforms and Smart TVs worldwide, including Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV and Roku streaming platforms, Hisense, LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL and Vizio Smart TVs, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices and online at www.haystack.tv.
