“The Lion King” live-action reboot may have debuted a year ago but Queen Bey is not done celebrating. The singer, who starred in the hit film as Nala, is releasing a corresponding visual album to the soundtrack “The Lion King: The Gift,” which came out last year, along with the blockbuster film. Titled “Black Is King,” the visual album is available now, exclusively on Disney+.

News of the visual album first broke in June. In production for the last year, the album reimagines the lessons of “The Lion King” for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns. The film is a story for the ages that informs and rebuilds the present, a reunion of cultures and shared generational beliefs and a story of how the people left most broken have an extraordinary gift and a purposeful future.

Shot in various locations, it begins in New York then travels to Los Angeles, South Africa, West Africa, London and Belgium. The film features notable faces, including models Aweng Ade-Chuol and Adut Akech, supermodel Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-Lawson, author and Oscar-winning actor Lupita Nyong’o, singer Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z and more.

The film will also be available in various African countries, including South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Namibia, Cameroon, Liberia, Burundi, Senegal, Togo, Somalia, Benin, Congo, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Gabon and Cape Verde via a distribution deal with MultiChoice Group’s M-Net and Canal+ Afrique.

“Black Is King” includes full-length videos for the songs “Already,” “Brown Skin Girl,” “Mood 4 Eva” and “My Power.” Disney+ teamed with Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s production company, for the work.

You can stream “Black Is King’ with Disney+ on a wide variety of streaming players, smart TVs, gaming consoles, mobile devices and tablets.
