As Auburn attempts to put its pieces together under its new head coach Bryan Harsin, the Zips can lean on their veteran players to get out to a faster start.

Despite a weak secondary last year, the Auburn secondary should be able to test the quarterbacks. There are ten starters returning to the Zip D, but Akron still has a long way to go before it can qualify for the playoffs.

It is possible Auburn is still looking for a starting quarterback, but Bo Nix and/or TJ Finley should be fine with well over a year to work on their skills.
