How to Watch NASCAR’s Geico 500 Race Live Without Cable on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV
Sunday’s Geico 500 race will see the return of fans for the first time since the sports car racing league resumed in May. (Last week’s Dixie Vodka 400 invited 1,000 military members from South Florida to attend as guests.) The race will take place at Talladega Superspeedway and will air on FOX, beginning at 3 p.m. ET.

Though the coronavirus is still rampant, NASCAR officials have spent weeks working with state and local health authorities to ensure the safest practices to bring spectators back to the Talladega Superspeedway. The race track will allow 5,000 fans to attend Sunday’s event under extensive social distancing measures. Tickets were granted only to fans within a 150-mile radius of the venue, who had purchased them for the original race date in April, ABC 33/40 reported.
“You know the racing at Talladega makes this place great but the fans at Talladega is what makes this place so special,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Brian Crichton. “We know the sports world is watching us. We know people are watching the policies and procedures we put in place and so we’re taking them very seriously because we want to do them right and not take a backwards step.”
As part of the new measures, face masks are required for all attendees. Seating has also been limited to small clusters spread across 43,000 seats in the tower and grandstands, while aisle seats are to remain vacant to ensure social distancing for those leaving their seats. Concession stands will offer pre-packaged meals and cash will not be accepted in an effort to limit interactions between fans and concession workers.
