Hulu to Launch Updated TV App with Improved Interface Including 14-Day Grid Guide

In a report in TechCrunch, Hulu is planning a major update to the interface on their TV app.

First, they will be replacing the Lineup section with a new personalized section that either will show unwatched favorited content or editorial picks by Hulu.

When you scroll, you will now see thumbnails of multiple shows instead of a single poster frame. When you go to the Details page, you will now get more control with one-click actions to Recording Options, Watch Live, or Mark as Watched.

The biggest news for Live TV viewers is that they have updated their Grid Guide to support two weeks of upcoming programming, instead of just the next few hours. Also, down the left side you will quickly be able to switch between All Channels, Favorites, Recents, and categories like Sports.

It is expected that most of these changes including the updated guide will be coming in the Spring.
