Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) is executive producing a new animated comedy for Netflix. The comedy takes place after aliens destroy Earth and humans have to rebuild their world.
The 20-episode “Mulligan” is being co-produced with her partner Robert Carlock under their respective Little Stranger and Bevel Gears production companies.
Carlock was also involved in “30 Rock” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” which airs on the streamer, alongside Fey.
The pair has enlisted Sam Means, who won three Emmys for “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” as the “Mulligan” writer. Means was also a writer for NBC’s “30 Rock” and “Parks and Recreation.”
Fey and Carlock have also joined forces to executive produce “Girls5Eva,” a comedy for NBCU’s Peacock.
In addition, the streamer has just released the trailer for season three of “Ozark,” which begins on March 27. It picks up six months after season two ends. Netflix and UN Women have launched “Because She Watched,” a collection of series, documentaries and films curated by women.
